Donate today to help us sponsor families and help them rebuild!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Relief Spark!

The team of Relief Spark has been working with volunteers since September 1, 2005 primarily for families who lost their homes due to the flooding of Louisiana and Mississippi.

Spring Break 2008 we have over 10 programs for volunteers to choose from and we keep on addin' new programs and new non-profit partners! If you are interested in viewing what we have to offer, please CLICK HERE.

Each non-profit offers a variety of activities to choose from, but what makes Relief Spark different is that we have created a network of organizations so each day, if you choose, can be a different experience on a different level. Experience what families are doing across the city and not just in one neighborhood.

As a Relief Spark Volunteer we have housing set up in Uptown that has heat/AC, kitchen with appliances, outdoor patio with grill, air mattresses/bunk beds/cots for your comfort and laundry room with washer and dryer. Over Spring Break we offer Personal Chef's and dinners to be served at our meal partner St. Georges Episcopal Church. All of our housing is located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and grocery stores.

As for meals everything is yummy and delicious. Breakfast is simple: cereal, muffin, juice, milk, coffee and fruit. Lunch is packed to go with bottled water. Dinner will vary from gumbo and fried chicken and mashed potatoes to red beans and rice, poboys and shrimp/crawfish boils. We go all out Southern style!

Relief Spark Housing can accommodate up to 100 volunteers per week. We work well with groups to individuals. If you have any questions, please call our office at: 504.377.7854 and please fill out the form below.

We now offer transportation, so please note below if you are interested in our transportation packages. We offer group discounts, local drivers and new 15-passenger vans, mini-vans and suburbans.

One of our coordinators will contact you within 24-36 hours. Thanks and we look forward to working with you on the ground in New Orleans and/or St. Bernard Parish!
